Beachfront Establishment Partially Collapses in Majorca

Investigators are still searching for the cause of a partial restaurant collapse in the popular Spanish resort area of Majorca. The incident occurred on Thursday, leaving four people dead and 16 injured. Among those who died were three women and one man.

The two-story building, which housed a beachfront restaurant, partially collapsed, trapping patrons and staff. Emergency responders rushed to the scene and were able to rescue several people from the rubble, but four victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

The injured victims were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. Some have reported serious injuries, while others have been released after receiving medical attention.

Authorities are urging people to stay away from the area as investigations continue. The cause of the collapse is still unknown, but officials are working to determine what caused the structure to fail.
